Photocamp Bradford 2009
I was one of the 150+ people who attended Photocamp Bradford 2009 at the National Media Museum over the weekend of the 5th & 6th September. This is the third such event and its going from strength to strength. The event included a keynote speech by Miss Aniela ( http://missaniela.com/) and sessions on 365 projects, tours of the museum's archives, strobism, model / portrait photography, pinhole photography; for the full list of seminars visit the Photocamp Bradford 2009 flickr site at http://www.flickr.com/groups/pcb-09/discuss/72157622196315230/ . The highlight for me was the curator led talk of the Don McCullin exhibition In England. Great set of b&w images and a change from the McCullin photographs most people know. Check out the museums web page detailing the exhibition at http://www.nationalmediamuseum.org.uk/donmccullin/events.asp - it includes a podcast and four video clips with transcripts. The exhibition is on until 27th September 2009 so if you are in the area pop in.
